Gases and liquids radioactive effluents released into the environment contain a small amount of radionuclides. These radionuclides will be dispersed in the environment and reached the human being by some pathways, which than will increase the dose received by the public. The dose received by the critical population must not exceed the dose limits for the public, for now or in the future. So the radioactive effluents released into the environment have to be regulated and controlled. The level of regulations and controlling depend on the dose estimations to the critical population for each practices an sources.Erwansyah Lubis
