The most serious and threatening vehicle motion that can cause traffic accidents is rollover. this is defined as any maneuver in which the venicle rotates about the longitudinal axis such that the body becomes unstable and results in contact with the ground. Rollover typically strarts once the tire forces offside of the vehicle reach zero, indicating the tire has liffed off the ground. The rolling motion can be studied in detail by giving the system with a non-zero loading represented the input disturbance on the tire. In this model, the input disturbance is given at the tire in the Z-direction since the lateral tire motion is neglected.
