BIRM and TENORM now become topics for discussion among experts of radioactive wastes. This paper describes the status of the management of NORM and TENORM waste including their origin, regulations and disposal assessment. Some advanced countries have established the regulations for NORM and TENORM waste. However the IAEA has not yet published any guideline for the managemen of NORM and TENORM. There are many options for disposal of NORM and TENOR. There are many options for disposal of NORM and TENORM waste based on standard radioactive waste storage/disposal procedures.
