Examples of fundamental research and applications at small accelerations

>

Accelerators are facilities where fundamental research and applications develop jointly. The following are examples of an interplay between fundamental research and applications: 1. Evidence for the three body force (3BF) derived from neutron-neutron (n-n) scattering length data and nuclear data for science and technology. 2. Absence of nucleoside repair effects for neutron irradiation and the development of the neutron radiobiological facility. 3. Mathematical modeling and production of radiopharmaceuticals.
