The main duty of National Police which is in line with the need of community in the nation is tomaintain security, uphold public order and enforce the law, as stipulated in MPR decreeNo: VIIIMPR/200 and Law no 2 Year 2002 Chapter 13 on the main duties of nationalpolice. National Police has important role in the nuclear energy, as to eliminate illicittrafficking, environmental pollution, terrorism, transportation and sabotage. It has rolein the construction of NPP from the planning phase, comissioning phase, operationalphase and decommissioning phase.
