TEMPERA TURE DISTRIBUTION ANAL YSIS FOR HEA TED ROD IN "HEA TlNG-01"

TEST SECTION. The analysis of temperature distribution for heated rod in cylindrical from in heating-01 test section has been done. Analyzing done to know distribution of temperature and compares result of experiment and result of calculation numerik. Eksperiment was conducted with heat-up the heated rod until initial temperature 85(fC and cooling down by radiation until temperature 9(fC. While, three methods of numeric was used to predicted a temperature decrease in heated rod during cooling radiation. Result of simulation is obtained by distribution of temperature (in the form of tables and graph) applies method FTCS, BTCS, and Dufort Frankel with time processed cooling to reach environmental temperature in a real radiation quickly, that is less than 22 seconds (maximum 21,6 seconds). From graph of comparison shows that the pattern of temperature decreasing was occurred in exponentiallly, both for experiment result and numerical result. Ainur Rosidi, M.
